Prayer is a dialogue of love with our God. It should feed our charitable activity. As Christians, we believe that it is Christ himself that we meet in the person of the poor (Matthew, 25, 31-46: « In so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me »)
The Rule invites us to ask the Holy Spirit for help before our visits so that He should make of us « craftsmen of Christ’s peace and joy » (§ 1.7.) In his circular letter of 30th of June 2007, our president general reminds us that when in conference, we should tune in to the Holy Spirit so that he could inspire us new and appropriate ways of action. |
