In principle, the experience of the fellow members show that the answer is rather positive

« Vincentians are called to be saints! » (Rule, § 2.2.)

The Church has recognised the holiness of one of our founders, Frédéric Ozanam (1813-1853). This holiness did not become apparent through spectacular or heroic actions. « Fred » – as his wife Amelie used to call him – grew up in holiness on a daily basis, fulfilling his simple state duty:

-         in his personal life (husband and father, responsible and committed citizen).

-         in his professional life (teacher in the Sorbonne)

-         in his charitable life (as a Vincentian)
